So here we are, you and I. Nobody really knows anything but there's plenty of good ideas out there. Enough to make us feel safe, but never really satisfied.
We know there's this stuff called matter. It's everything we see; it's all around us. It is us. And yet there is more..
We know about energy--everything has a little bit of it. Nothing is absolutely zero degrees. Energy is built into matter right down to the electron, and probably even further. So the two are inseparable, it seems.
Life, it can be said, needs both. In death the body has no energy to animate it, though without a body what good would the energy do? The two forces intertwined make life as delicious as it is. Or it should be, anyways. We're usually too scared to accept the sheer simplicity of it.

But when it comes down to Life and Death, things seem pretty simple. So here we are, you and I. Still not omniscient, and still imaginative. But at least now we see the beauty of union, of oneness, which is all around us. I think that's our cue to Live.
